Pastimes Marketing Leadership
Jessica
Content Connoisseur
Here’s what you should know about Jess, from Lindsey’s POV.
Jess is co-founder of Pastimes Marketing and is the go-getting impetus behind this business coming to life. She was writing content for folks and starting business ventures on her own long before I came along, and has some pretty strong opinions about the state of marketing for small business. A few rounds of wine and cheese later we hashed out the idea of Pastimes in full.
She’s a wordsmith with the technical expertise to help you get your business’s content found and shared. What I value most about her is that she’s a super-helper: to clients, to friends, to anyone. If you ask for help or advice, she’ll go above and beyond to find you the solution you need. You want Jess in your corner for your small business, trust me.
Personally, she’s a world traveler with a knack for planning killer itineraries and even more killer themed parties. If you ever find yourself at one of those parties, test her on her encyclopedic knowledge of bubbly and cheese, or basically every book ever published. When she’s not traveling the world, taking a group fitness class, or perusing the aisles of the local library, you’ll likely find her relaxing at home in Ohio with her husband, doing a puzzle, and chatting about what adventure they want to plan next.
Want to recommend your city? Shoot her a note, and she just might head there next.

Please indulge me (Jessica) while I gush about Lindsey for a moment.
As co-founder of Pastimes Marketing, Lindsey is a factotum, or Jane of all trades. One day, she’s building a Mailchimp email template for a client, and the next she’s writing a blog post about a new retention marketing strategy. And having served as the top marketing executive at her last corporate job, she knows her stuff.
I learn so much from her every day. She’s always sending me innovative ideas we should try, not only in our own business, but also things we should recommend to you! Linds brings serious technical chops and is the best figure-outer for when things get wonky. She’s creative and strategic, of course, but also mellow and easy-going—two things I am not. She helps our clients avoid overwhelm and keep calm as we tackle some of the biggest marketing challenges together.
On a personal note, she lives in Ohio with her charming hubs and the most puppy-est senior canine there ever was! While not as competitive as me, Linds still enjoys the occasional trivia or spelling bee. She’s also the queen of specialty coffee and cocktails. Her favorite way to move her body is a sweaty boxing class or Peloton ride. Linds also enjoys green-ifying her thumbs in the garden, and researching ways she can make her massive yard better for the environment.
If you email her your favorite dinner recipe, she’ll love you forever!
